Dr Watkin is a highly experienced, tertiary level specialist in newborn medicine & paediatrics, with an interest in safety & quality and more than 25 years experience as a consultant in the UK before moving to Cayman in 2016.

Dr Marinova trained in both paediatrics and neonatal medicine, working in the UK as a consultant for more than a decade in both tertiary and local hospitals. She shares Dr Watkin’s passion for safety & quality (and Cayman!)

Dr Newton is a general paediatrician, tertiary trained in highly respected paediatric and neonatal centres in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, with specific interests in neonatal care, complex diagnoses and developmental follow up.

Dr Alison Duncan is a highly experienced dermatologist who specialises in both adult and paediatric dermatology, with particular experience in skin cancer identification and management, as well as general and inflammatory skin conditions.
Our Clinic Insurance Information
We use the Cayman Standard Health Insurance Fee Schedule (SHIF) for all of our work except a few minor exceptions, where we adjust our rates because the amount reimbursed by insurers no longer covers the cost of care. The main exception is birthing charges.
Birth Charges at our Clinic
The area where our charges differ from the SHIF schedule of fees is BIRTH-RELATED FEES, where the amount reimbursed is now very out of line with the cost of providing paediatric care, due to the SHIF not having seen fee increases for the last 17 years. Our paediatricians will explain the costs to you in more detail when you meet them but you can expect out-of-pocket charges in the range between $300 and $700 KYD, depending on type of birth, degree of waiting time, any complications etc.
